We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Barista to join our dynamic team. Delivering exceptional service while crafting high-quality specialty beverages. Reporting to the Outlet Supervisor / Outlet Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: Welcoming guests, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments. Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries. Sells coffees and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates. Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino. Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products. Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations. Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar. Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality. Maintain a clean dining area, sanitizing tables and chairs, and sweeping crumbs off of the floor Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls. Minimum 2 years of Food & Beverage and/or retail experience within the last 2 years Proven barista experience with demonstrated expertise in specialty coffee preparation Proficiency with espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment Strong cash handling skills and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays Experience in a luxury hospitality or upscale café environment Multilingual abilities, particularly Arabic language skills Experience with inventory management and stock rotation Knowledge of latte art and advanced coffee presentation techniques Previous experience working in diverse, multicultural team environments
