Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers. Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. Preparation of Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies. Reconciliations: Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations. Identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Supporting Audits: Prepare financial documentation for audits. Assist in the coordination of external audits. Budget Monitoring: Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditures. Provide variance reports to management. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. Stay updated on changes in financial legislation and best practices. Accounting Software: Utilize accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) for transactions and reporting. Assist in implementing new financial software solutions. Internal Controls: Assist in maintaining and enforcing internal controls. Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information. Support the finance team in various ad-hoc projects and tasks. Educational Background Minimum : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional Experience 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment. Technical Skills Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite. Strong Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis functions. Certifications ZAT or IFRS other relevant certification is a plus but not required. Core Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
