Duties and Responsibilities: Provide personalized coordinated care, support and treatment for patients and families. Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect. Involve patients, families and caregivers by providing them with education and resources for offering optimal support to promote recovery. Read and apply all procedures and policies related to the department and hospital. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, quality assurance/control program, safety, infection control and environment standard in performance of specimen testing. Perform manual and automated procedures in laboratory. Assists the supervisor in performing, orienting, training and assigning duties to subordinate laboratory technologist staff. Assists the supervisor in inspecting and monitoring work in progress to assure that policies, standard operating procedures and safety precautions are followed. Assures that adequate supplies are available at all the time, and maintain inventory. Ensures the appropriate operation of all equipment’s in the section. Perform all recommended periodic equipment maintenance. Participates in educational programs, and hospital wide events. Assist th
