Role Summary The Quality Inspector – Mechanical is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works—including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and mechanical equipment installations—are executed in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and project quality procedures. The role involves daily site inspections, reviewing material and work inspection requests, and coordinating with engineers and contractors to maintain the highest standards of mechanical quality and safety on-site. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily inspections to ensure mechanical works follow approved ITPs, checklists, and project requirements. Proactively identify deficiencies, non-compliance, or faults in mechanical installations and report them immediately to the QC Manager for corrective actions. Close all WIRs (Work Inspection Requests) and MIRs (Material Inspection Requests) after obtaining proper signatures and ensuring supporting documentation is complete. Thoroughly review project specifications, mechanical drawings, PQP, ITPs, method statements, QC procedures, and related quality documents.
