About the Role We are looking for an experienced Inbound Supervisor to lead and oversee the receiving operation of a fast-growing grocery distribution center. In this role, you will lead a team of Team Leaders and Receiving Officers , manage the flow of goods from supplier arrival through receiving and putaway handover, and ensure that every receipt is processed accurately, safely, and within the required timeline. Key Responsibilities Plan the daily inbound schedule and allocate manpower based on truck arrivals and inbound volume. Supervise unloading, counting, PO receiving in the WMS, and putaway handover. Ensure all open receipts are closed on the same day with no end-of-shift backlog. Enforce cold chain, FEFO, expiry, and quality control requirements across ambient, chilled, frozen, and fresh products. Lead, train, and develop the receiving team while monitoring individual productivity and performance. Coordinate with Planning, Commercial, and Suppliers to ensure smooth inbound operations.
