Job Purpose The QA/QC Architect Engineer shall be responsible for controlling and monitoring the quality of all architectural works, ensuring compliance with approved architectural drawings, specifications, material submittals, method statements, mockups, ITPs, approved samples, and project quality requirements. Functional Responsibilities Review architectural drawings, specifications, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and approved samples. Inspect architectural works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Monitor the quality of architectural works including blockwork, plastering, finishes, flooring, stone/marble, painting, drywall, ceilings, doors, façade/cladding, waterproofing interfaces, and fit-out works . Prepare and review WIR/MIR, inspection checklists, ITPs, and quality documentation . Verify delivered materials, mockups, and samples against approved requirements. Identify non-conforming works, raise NCRs/SORs , and follow up on corrective and rectification actions. Monitor subcontractor workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality requirements. Coordinate with Site, Construction, Technical Office, Procurement, and Consultant teams on quality and inspection matters. Participate in mockup, consultant/client inspections, snagging, de-snagging, and final handover activities. Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports, approved samples, and quality documentation . Ensure architectural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs . Required Technical Knowledge • Architectural construction and finishing work.   • Architectural materials and installation requirements.   • Mockup and sample approval procedures.   • Material inspection and approval.   • WIR/MIR procedures.   • ITPs and inspection checklists.   • NCR/SOR management.   • Method statements.   • Waterproofing and architectural interfaces.   • Finishing tolerance and workmanship requirements.   • Shop drawings and specification compliance.   • Snagging and handover procedures.   • Construction QA/QC systems.  General Responsibilities HR Proficiency: Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job To have a vision and a plan for the career path and how to achieve it. Compliance: Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions. Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
