The role holder runs delivery of the Investment initiative portfolio within the Investment PMO, converting the approved roadmap into tracked, governed delivery. Reporting to the Group Chief Investment Officer, the role covers portfolio planning and sequencing, stage-gate administration, control of milestones, dependencies and risks, benefits tracking, and portfolio budget and resource tracking. The role applies the project management standards and the investment lifecycle and approval framework set by the GCIO Office, receives the approved roadmap and allocation position from it, and releases delivery baselines and stage-gate outcomes to Capital Partnerships, Investment Analysis, Asset Management and Land Sales. The role holder is accountable for on-time delivery of the portfolio, the integrity of the risk and benefits record, and the quality of portfolio reporting. Lead delivery of the Investment initiative portfolio against the roadmap approved by the Group Chief Investment Officer, recommending portfolio entry, exit and resequencing where delivery or dependency evidence supports it. Apply the project management standards, tools, templates and stage-gate discipline set by the GCIO Office across every Investment initiative, and escalate departures from them. Maintain the portfolio milestone, dependency, risk and issue record so that it is complete, current and evidenced, and escalate material exposure to the Group Chief Investment Officer with a recommended mitigation. Direct the stage-gate cycle, assembling gate papers and evidence, and releasing gate outcomes to the delivering departments so execution proceeds against an agreed baseline. Track benefits against the baselines agreed with initiative owners, validate post-implementation outcomes, and report variance to the Group Chief Investment Officer. Lead portfolio-level tracking of budget and resources for Investment initiatives, recommending reallocation to the Group Chief Investment Officer and operating within the delegated authority set by the GCIO Office. Coordinate delivery across Capital Partnerships, Investment Analysis, Asset Management and Land Sales, and with Development, Finance, Legal and Technology, resolving scheduling and dependency conflicts and escalating those that cannot be resolved at this level. Supply portfolio reporting to the Group Chief Investment Officer covering delivery status, risk exposure, benefits position and forecast. Apply the allocation position released by the GCIO Office when sequencing the portfolio, and refer proposed departures from it upward for decision. Lead and develop the delivery resource assigned to the portfolio, and steward the resourcing within own scope.
