Category All Clear Manager R&D Date: Aug 26, 2026 Location: Shanghai, CN Job Description: Job Purpose Lead R&D strategy and partnership platform development for ACWA's green hydrogen projects. Drive control and electrical system innovation and establish green hydrogen pilot platforms to support project delivery and market demands. Key Duties Provide technical leadership in system simulation, cluster control strategies, and electrical architecture for grid-connected and off-grid scenarios. Build and manage the green hydrogen R&D and pilot platform and define the hydrogen system R&D roadmap. Establish and manage R&D collaboration with research institutes, universities, OEMs, and government entities. Oversee R&D project delivery, including timeline, budget, and cross-functional team coordination. Qualification Master's degree or above in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fields. Minimum 5 years (preferably 8+ years) of experience in R&D project management and technical leadership within the power or chemical industry sectors. Preference for candidates from engineering design institutes, OEMs, specialized research institutes, or investment/operation enterprises. Demonstrated success in building R&D partnerships, managing platforms, and driving technology innovation within a project-driven environment. Skills Strong technical foundation in power systems, DCS/PLC, and hydrogen simulation tools. Expertise in control strategy design, electrical system integration, and large-scale hydrogen cluster control logic. Proven capability in full-cycle R&D project management, including schedule control, budget management, and cross-functional coordination. Strong insight into industry demand and technology roadmap planning.
