Role Summary The Sustainability Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all sustainability-related requirements are implemented and maintained throughout the construction phase. The role focuses on compliance with approved sustainability reports, specifications, LEED requirements, and applicable local and international codes and standards. The Sustainability Engineer works closely with the Resident Engineer (RE) and project stakeholders to monitor site activities, approve materials, and support project reporting and certification processes. Key Responsibilities Follow up on project sustainability requirements in accordance with approved sustainability reports, specifications, and project commitments. Monitor and ensure compliance with water efficiency and energy efficiency requirements as per applicable codes, standards, and sustainability frameworks. Review and approve all Material Approval Requests (MARs) submitted by the contractor, ensuring alignment with sustainability and LEED requirements.
