Job Summary: Supervise and control the entire drilling operation activities during the night shift, ensuring the successful completion of the well and drilling activities while liaising closely with OIM or deputize for the OIM as and when required. At all times considering the safety of personnel, the environment, and equipment to maximize drilling operation efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: Drilling Operations: Ensures the safety of personnel, equipment, and the efficiency of operations on the drill floor and other drilling operation associated areas. Plans and schedules all drilling and associated activity. Directs personnel towards achieving optimum job performance according to the client’s requirements. Ensures any deviation from client well plan (Game Plan) is approved by OIM, and that Client representative has documented in written form. Consult with the OIM and Client’s Representative regarding the progress of the Drilling program and associated operations, keeping the driller informed about the ongoing drilling program objectives and communicating any changes in plans.
